Lighthouse Fiction

This little corner of the internet is the home of Lighthouse Fiction, a scrapbook / magazine / defunct radioshow / autoarchive / lost diary for the digital era.

You can think of this website as a memory box found in a dead poet's desk drawer. Perhaps none of it will interest you. Perhaps all of it will.

Either way, I do hope you find the stay enjoyable

Dear Reader

Very little to announce, given the site has only just begun.

But who knows. Maybe somewhere out there something fascinatingly dangerous—or dangerously fascinating—awaits.

The Bower

The following is a personal collection (or, bower) of various oddities that have caught my fancy—mostly for my own archival purposes, though you are most welcome to peruse them at your leasure.

Art
  1. The sculptures of Glen Martin Taylor (his website is here).
Film
  1. Dead Poet's Society will forever have my heart. My father introduced it to me as his favourite film, and by god was he right.
Literature
  1. Nasty Red Dogs. Absolutely fantastic webcomic.
  2. And, on the top of webcomics, there's also Confessions of a Smalltown Priest.
Music
  1. I've been really into I'm Your Man by Mitski, recently. Good for those 5 a.m. campus walks. Speaking of, there's a smashing Lord of the Rings animatic to it.
Oddities
  1. There's a Wikipedia page on glass delusion, and a BBC programme called The Glass Piano on Princess Alexandra of Bravaria, who was one of a handful of noteable historical cases. She was a writer, according to her personal Wikipedia page. I wonder if I might ever procure a translation of one of her works
